This was a great summer art camp.  We took one of Alexander Calder’s lithographs (STARBURST) and went to town with it!  We not only made it HUGE but three dimensional as well.  By just looking at an 8″x11″ piece of paper the artists were able to get the right measurements to fill up a 10’x15′ space.  They were able to get the correct colors, as well as shapes and make this 2-D image into a 3-D art environment.  This was not only an incredible art class for kids but they learned a lot about history and math with out even knowing it.  Check out the photos of these art kids in action….. and of course we had our gallery opening on the last day which was fantastic.

Congratulations all you artists, I couldn’t be more proud.
